Edit Incentive Request
Make changes to your existing incentive request
Overview
You can edit your incentive requests under certain conditions. This allows you to update information, correct mistakes, or improve your request message before the provider processes it.
When Can You Edit?
✅ You CAN Edit If:

|---|---|
| Status is Draft | Yes |
| Status is Requested AND Delivery Method is Shared Link | Yes |
❌ You CANNOT Edit If:
| Condition | Reason |
|---|---|
| Status is Requested with Email delivery | Already sent to provider |
| Status beyond Requested | Already being processed |
| Status is Completed or Cancelled | Request is finalized |
| You're not the Creator | Only creator can edit |
How to Access Edit Page
- Go to Incentive Requests page
- Find your request in the table
- Click the action menu (⋮)
- Select "Edit Incentive Request"
Note: This option only appears when editing is allowed.
What You Can Edit
Editable Fields

| Entity Type | Change your entity type (Individual, Business, etc.) |
| Entity Stage | Update your entity stage |
| Incentive Type | Modify the type of incentive requested |
| Request Type | Switch between Single and Group |
| Max Required Members | Change maximum members (Group only) |
| Product/Service Name | Update the product or service name |
| Product/Service URL | Correct or update the website URL |
| Request Message | Rewrite or improve your message |
| Message Masking | Toggle privacy settings |
Non-Editable After Submission

Step-by-Step Editing
Step 1: Access the Edit Form
Navigate to the edit page using the action menu.
Step 2: Review Current Information
The form will be pre-filled with your existing data.
Step 3: Make Your Changes
Modify any of the editable fields as needed.
Step 4: Save Changes
Click Save or Update to apply your changes.
Editing Different Request Types
Single Requests
Edit all standard fields:
- Entity information
- Incentive type
- Product/Service details
- Request message
Group Requests
Additional considerations:
- Max Required Members - Can increase or decrease limit
- Changes may affect existing members
- Members are notified of significant changes
Best Practices
Before Editing
✅ Do:
- Review the current request thoroughly
- Check if editing is still allowed
- Prepare your changes beforehand
During Editing
✅ Do:
- Make all necessary changes at once
- Double-check URLs and names
- Review your message for clarity
❌ Don't:
- Make frequent small edits
- Change request type if members have joined
- Remove important information
After Editing
✅ Do:
- Verify changes were saved
- Notify provider if needed (for Shared Link)
- Check messages for any impact
Special Scenarios
Switching from Single to Group
When changing from Single to Group:
- Specify maximum members
- You'll need to invite others to join
- Group features become available
Switching from Group to Single
When changing from Group to Single:
- Existing members may be affected
- Group features will be removed
- Consider notifying members first
Form Validation
The edit form validates:
