Getting started (incentive recipient)
This guide is for people who confirm incentives from a business that uses Incentise—not for browsing a marketplace to request deals or collect unsolicited offers. Incentise is built around incentive acknowledgments: after a provider has already delivered value to you (discount, cashback, credit, gift, trial, etc.), they may ask you to confirm receipt and optionally share a short message (for example a thank-you).
What you can do as a recipient
- Submit an acknowledgment when a provider invites you—confirm you received the incentive and add a message if you like.
- Sign in later (once you have an account) to review and, where the product allows, edit acknowledgment messages you already submitted.
- Manage your profile and account in Settings (email, password, profile details), same as any user.
You do not use Incentise to request new incentives from businesses or to receive offer campaigns inside the app as the main product experience. That focus sits with providers and acknowledgment-based social proof.
How your account is usually created
Typical path
- A provider sends you an invitation (for example by email or a link they share) after they have delivered an incentive through their normal process.
- You open the link and complete the acknowledgment flow (confirm receipt and submit your message).
- When you submit that acknowledgment, Incentise creates your incentive recipient account automatically (if you did not already have one), so the acknowledgment is tied to you and you can come back later.
So for many people, the first time they “use” Incentise is through an invitation, not by hunting for a signup page first.
If you already have an account
- Use Log in with the email you used when you submitted the acknowledgment (or the method you chose at registration).
- After signing in, you can open the area for your acknowledgments to see past submissions and update messages if the product supports editing.
Choosing to register without an invitation
You can also create an account yourself if the site offers registration—for example if you want to prepare your profile before any invitation, or if you will use other roles on the platform.
Registration options (when available)
Email and password
- Open Register / Sign up on the Incentise site.
- Enter email, username, and password; choose incentive recipient (or the closest option shown).
- Verify your email with the code sent to your inbox.
Continue with Google
- Fast path if you use Google; your email is usually verified through Google.
Magic link
- Enter your details and request a link by email; open it within the time limit shown (often a few minutes) to sign in without a password.
If you see “Email already exists”, you may already have an account from a past acknowledgment—try Log in or Forgot password.
More detail: Register as an incentive recipient.
Provider and recipient on one account
If you request account creation (or complete registration) in a way that enables it, you can act both as an incentive provider and as an incentive recipient in the same login. For example:
- You run a business and use Incentise to collect acknowledgments from your customers, and
- You acknowledge incentives from other providers when you receive their invitations.
The sidebar or menu may show separate sections (for example “as provider” vs “as recipient”). Use the section that matches what you are doing in that moment.
After you are signed in
Acknowledgments
- Open My acknowledgments / Incentive acknowledgments (or the name shown in your menu) to see what you have already submitted.
- If editing is supported, change your message there; otherwise contact the provider or support if something must be corrected.
More detail: Incentive acknowledgements.
Settings
- Profile — Name, photo, and public-facing details providers may see.
- Account — Username, email, status.
- Change password — If you use password login.
- Social media — Optional links.
See Account settings for step-by-step help.
What you do not need for acknowledgments
You do not need to:
- Search the site for products to “request incentives” on.
- Claim offers from an Incentive offers inbox as the main way to use Incentise.
- Set up payout accounts in Incentise just to submit an acknowledgment—the provider delivers the incentive outside Incentise; you are only confirming it here.
If your screen still shows older labels (requests, offers), treat them as legacy or optional; the product direction described here is acknowledgment-first.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| No invitation received | Check spam; confirm the provider used the correct email; ask them to resend or share the link again. |
| Link expired or invalid | Ask the provider for a new acknowledgment invitation. |
| Can’t log in | Use the email from the acknowledgment flow; try Forgot password or magic link if enabled. |
| Don’t see my past acknowledgment | Sign in with the same email you used when you submitted; check the acknowledgments section in the menu. |
Forgot password: Forgot password (if linked in your docs tree).

Summary
- Incentise for recipients centers on acknowledging incentives you already received, usually after a provider invitation.
- Submitting an acknowledgment typically creates your recipient account if needed; you can then view and edit past messages where supported.
- You can register on your own and, depending on your account type, use both provider and recipient features with one login.
- Request incentives and receive offers are not the focus of this getting started path.
