Suggestion Product Services

Overview

The Suggestion Product Services feature allows customers to submit suggestions for products or services that are not currently available in the incentive request program. When you suggest a product or service, our team reviews your suggestion. If approved, we automatically send an incentive request to the business on your behalf, so you don't need to write the incentive request yourself. This feature enables users to earn cashback or discounts by suggesting new products or services to brands and businesses.

How to Access

  1. Navigate to the Suggestion Product Services page
  2. The page is accessible to both guests and authenticated users
  3. Some features require authentication (submitting suggestions)

Submitting a Suggestion

Step 1: Customer Type Selection

Choose your current status regarding the product or service:

  • Prospect Customer: "I want to buy or subscribe to a product or service"
    • For customers who have never purchased the product or service before
  • Existing Customer: "I have bought or subscribed to a product or service"
    • For customers who have previously purchased the product or service

Step 2: Incentive Type Selection

Select the type of incentive you would like to earn:

  • Cashback: Receive cashback on your purchase
  • Discount: Receive a discount on your purchase

Step 3: Product/Service Information

Website URL

  • Enter the official website URL of the product or service
  • Format: https://productwebsite.com
  • This field is required and must be a valid URL

Suggestion Message

  • Write your suggestion message explaining why you want this product or service
  • Maximum 1024 characters
  • This field is required
  • Note: You must be logged in to submit a suggestion
  • Important: You don't need to write an incentive request - we'll handle that automatically after review

Step 4: Message Templates (Optional)

Use pre-written templates to help craft professional suggestion messages:

Available Templates:

  1. Prospective Customer – Company

    • For business owners seeking software solutions
    • Explains business needs and interest in the product/service
  2. Prospective Customer – Individual

    • For individuals looking for personal/professional software
    • Describes personal use case and interest in the product/service
  3. Existing Customer – Individual

    • For current individual subscribers
    • Explains continued interest and potential for increased usage
  4. Existing Customer – Company

    • For existing business customers
    • Describes business expansion needs and interest in additional services

Using Templates:

  • Navigate through templates using previous/next buttons
  • Click "Use This Template" to populate your suggestion message field
  • Customize the template with your specific details
  • Note: These templates help you explain your interest in the product/service, not write incentive requests

Step 5: Privacy Settings

  • Mask Message: Check this option to hide your suggestion message in public view
  • Your suggestion will still be visible to you and administrators

Step 6: Submit

  • Click "Submit Suggestion for Product/Service" to send your suggestion
  • You'll receive a success notification upon submission
  • What happens next: Our team will review your suggestion and, if approved, automatically send an incentive request to the business on your behalf

Managing Your Suggestions

Viewing Suggestions

The page has two main tabs:

  1. Suggestions by Others: View all public suggestions from other users
  2. My Suggestions: View your own submitted suggestions (requires authentication)

Editing Suggestions

  1. In the "My Suggestions" tab, click the three-dot menu (⋮) on your suggestion
  2. Select "Edit Suggestion for Product/Service"
  3. The form will populate with your existing data
  4. Make your changes
  5. Click "Update Suggestion for Product/Service"

Deleting Suggestions

  1. In the "My Suggestions" tab, click the three-dot menu (⋮) on your suggestion
  2. Select "Delete Suggestion for Product/Service"
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box
  4. The suggestion will be permanently removed

Suggestion Status

Each suggestion displays a status badge indicating its current state:

  • Pending: Awaiting review
  • Approved: Suggestion has been approved
  • Rejected: Suggestion has been rejected
  • In Progress: Being processed

Suggestion Details

Each suggestion card displays:

  • User Information: Name and avatar of the person who submitted
  • Timestamp: When the suggestion was created
  • Website URL: Clickable link to the product/service website
  • Message: The suggestion message (may be masked if privacy is enabled)
  • Customer Type: Prospect or existing customer badge
  • Incentive Type: Cashback or discount badge
  • Status: Current status of the suggestion

Pagination

  • Suggestions are displayed 5 per page
  • Navigate through pages using the pagination controls
  • Page counts are shown for both "My Suggestions" and "Suggestions by Others"

Authentication Requirements

  • Viewing: No authentication required to view public suggestions
  • Submitting: Must be logged in to submit new suggestions
  • Managing: Must be logged in to edit or delete your own suggestions

Review Process

After you submit a suggestion:

  1. Review Phase: Our team reviews your suggestion for feasibility and market demand
  2. Approval: If approved, we automatically create and send an incentive request to the business
  3. Business Response: The business may accept, reject, or negotiate the incentive terms
  4. Notification: You'll be notified of the outcome and any next steps

Writing Effective Suggestions

  1. Be Specific: Clearly describe the product or service you're interested in
  2. Explain Your Need: Share why this product/service would benefit you
  3. Be Professional: Use polite and respectful language
  4. Include Context: Mention your use case or business needs
  5. Focus on Interest: Explain why you want this product/service - we'll handle the incentive request

Using Templates Effectively

  1. Choose the Right Template: Select the template that matches your situation
  2. Personalize the Message: Replace placeholder text with your specific details
  3. Add Your Name: Include your full name in the signature
  4. Keep it Concise: Stay within the character limit while being thorough
  5. Focus on Your Interest: Use templates to explain why you want the product/service, not to request incentives

Privacy Considerations

  1. Mask Sensitive Information: Use the masking option if your message contains personal details
  2. Avoid Sharing Personal Data: Don't include sensitive information in public messages
  3. Consider Your Audience: Remember that suggestions may be visible to other users

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"Login Required" Error

  • Cause: Trying to submit a suggestion without being logged in
  • Solution: Log in to your account before submitting

Invalid URL Error

  • Cause: Website URL is not in the correct format
  • Solution: Ensure the URL starts with http:// or https://

Message Too Long Error

  • Cause: Message exceeds 1024 characters
  • Solution: Shorten your message or split it into multiple suggestions

Form Validation Errors

  • Cause: Required fields are missing or invalid
  • Solution: Fill in all required fields with valid information
