What is the Incentive Request Program?

The Incentive Request Program is a platform feature that allows users to request incentives (cashback, discounts) for products and services they want to purchase or already purchase or subsribe. It's a community-driven system where users can:

  • Browse available incentive programs for various products and services
  • Submit incentive requests to earn incentives when they make purchases
  • Track their requests and see the status of their incentives
  • View all community requests to understand what others are requesting
  • Manage their incentive journey from request to payout
  • Edit and delete requests when they are still in process
  • Manage uploaded files during the application process

How It Works

1. Program Discovery

  • Use the search bar at the top of the page to find products or services
  • Browse through available incentive request programs
  • Each program shows the product/service name and description
  • Programs display statistics like total requests, received incentives, and views

2. Program Overview

When you select a program, you'll see:

Program Header Card:

  • Product/Service name and description
  • "Visit Website" button to go to the official site
  • Statistics showing:
    • Total incentive requests made
    • Total incentives received by the community
    • Share options for social media platforms

3. Submitting Your Request

Step 1: Fill Out the Request Form

  • Customer Type: Choose whether you're a "Prospect Customer" (new) or "Existing Customer"
  • Incentive Type: Select your preferred incentive (Cashback, Discount)
  • Request Message: Write a detailed message explaining:
    • Why you want this product/service
    • How you plan to use it
    • What incentive would motivate your purchase
  • Message Privacy: Option to mask your message in public view

  • Use pre-written templates to help structure your request
  • Navigate through different template suggestions
  • Customize the template to fit your specific needs

  • Review your request details

  • Your request will be visible in the community

4. Viewing Requests

Two Main Tabs:

"All Requests" Tab:

  • View all incentive requests from the community
  • See requests from other users for the same product/service
  • Browse through paginated results
  • Each request shows:
    • Username and profile picture
    • Request message
    • Customer type (Prospect/Existing)
    • Incentive type (Cashback/Discount/Gift)
    • Request status
    • Timestamp

"My Requests" Tab:

  • View only your submitted requests (requires login)
  • Track the status of your own requests
  • Edit your existing requests if needed
  • See detailed information about your incentive journey

5. Request Details Sheet

When you click on a request (especially your own), you can view detailed information:

For Your Requests:

  • Request Information: Your original message and details
  • Status Tracking: Current status of your request
  • Action Requirements: Any steps you need to complete
  • Link Clicking: If required, click the provided link to visit the product
  • Receipt Upload: Upload purchase receipts if required
  • Payout Management: Select payout account for cashback
  • Status Updates: Update your request status as you complete actions

Status Tracking

The incentive request process follows a detailed status progression with 13 different statuses:

Initial Submission:

  • Being Processed: Your request has been submitted and is being processed by the system

Request Processing:

  • Request Sent: Incentise has sent your request to the business owner for review

Business Response:

  • Awaiting Your Application: Business has noticed your request, agreed to your application, and provided instructions on how to apply for the incentive
  • No Response: After several attempts, the business has not responded to your request
  • Under Review: Your request is currently under review by the business

Business Decision:

  • Approved: Business has approved your request
  • Declined: Business has rejected your request

Application Process:

  • Application Completed: You have already followed the business instructions and completed the required actions

Revision Process:

  • Business Requested Revision: Business has requested revisions to your application
  • Incentise Requested Revision: Incentise has requested revisions to your application
  • Revision Sent to Business: You have fixed the revision and submitted it back to the business
  • Revision Sent to Incentise: You have fixed the revision and submitted it back to Incentise

Final Status:

  • Received: Incentive has been successfully given to you:
    • For cashback: Money has been sent to your payout account
    • For discount: Discount code has been attached to your account

Incentive Types

  • Cashback: Receive money back after purchase
  • Discount: Get a discount code or reduced price

Customer Types

  • Prospect Customer: New customer to the product/service
  • Existing Customer: Already using the product/service

  • Mask your request message in public view

Managing Your Requests

Editing and Deleting Requests

When Can You Edit/Delete? You can edit or delete your incentive requests only when the status is still in the initial processing phase and hasn't been sent to the business yet. This includes:

  • Being Processed: Your request has been submitted and is being processed by the system

How to Edit Your Request:

  1. Go to the "My Requests" tab in the incentive request program
  2. Find the request you want to edit
  3. Click on the request to open the details sheet
  4. Look for the "Edit Request" button (only visible when editing is allowed)
  5. Modify your request details:
    • Customer Type (Prospect/Existing)
    • Incentive Type (Cashback/Discount)
    • Request Message
    • Message Privacy settings
  6. Click "Save Changes" to update your request

How to Delete Your Request:

  1. Go to the "My Requests" tab in the incentive request program
  2. Find the request you want to delete
  3. Click on the request to open the details sheet
  4. Look for the "Delete Request" button (only visible when deletion is allowed)
  5. Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog
  6. Your request will be permanently removed from the system

Important Notes:

  • Once a business has reviewed your request, you can no longer edit or delete it
  • Deleting a request is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Editing a request will update the timestamp and may affect your position in the queue
  • Status changes (like "Approved" or "Rejected") will lock the request from further editing

Managing Uploaded Files

When Can You Delete Files? You can delete uploaded files only when the request status is "Awaiting Your Application". This status means the business has noticed your request, agreed to your application, and provided instructions on how to apply for the incentive.

Types of Files You Can Manage:

  • Receipt uploads: Proof of purchase documents
  • Screenshots: Evidence of completed actions
  • Other supporting documents: Any additional files required by the business

How to Delete Uploaded Files:

  1. Go to the "My Requests" tab in the incentive request program
  2. Find the request with status "Awaiting Your Application"
  3. Click on the request to open the details sheet
  4. Scroll to the "Uploaded Files" section
  5. Find the file you want to delete
  6. Click the "Delete" button (trash icon) next to the file
  7. Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog
  8. The file will be removed from your request

How to Upload New Files:

  1. In the request details sheet, find the "Upload Files" section
  2. Click "Choose File" or drag and drop files
  3. Select the files you want to upload
  4. Click "Upload" to add them to your request
  5. Files will appear in the "Uploaded Files" list

File Management Best Practices:

  • Keep receipts organized: Upload clear, readable images of your purchase receipts
  • Use appropriate formats: Upload files in JPG, PNG, or PDF format
  • Don't delete files unnecessarily: Only delete files if you need to replace them with better versions
  • Check file requirements: Ensure your files meet the business's requirements
  • Backup important files: Keep copies of important documents on your device

  • You can upload multiple files for the same request
  • File size limits may apply (check the upload interface for limits)
  • Once status changes from "Awaiting Your Application", file management may be restricted

After your incentive request is processed and the business has agreed to your application, the status will change to "Awaiting Your Application". This means the business has noticed your request, agreed to your application, and provided instructions on how to apply for the incentive.

Applying for Cashback Incentives

Cashback Application Overview

Cashback incentives provide you with money back after your purchase. You'll need to set up a payout account to receive your cashback.

Step-by-Step Cashback Application Process

Step 1: Access Your Cashback Request Details

  1. Go to the "My Requests" tab in the incentive request program
  2. Find your cashback request with status "Awaiting Your Application"
  3. Click on the request to open the Cashback Request Details Sheet
  4. Review all the information provided by the business

Step 2: Review Cashback Information

In the cashback details sheet, you'll see:

Incentive Information:

  • Currency: The currency for your cashback (e.g., USD, EUR)
  • Incentive Amount: The cashback amount you'll receive
  • Action Locking: Requirements you must complete
  • Payout Schedule: When you'll receive your cashback
  • Payout Account: Where your cashback will be sent

Application Requirements: The business may require one or more of the following actions:

A. Click the Product Link (if required)

  • If the business requires you to visit their website:
    • Read the link instruction provided
    • Click the "Visit Link" button to open the product website
    • The system will automatically track your visit
    • Check the "Already Clicked the Link" checkbox when done

B. Upload Receipt (if required)

  • If the business requires proof of purchase:
    • Read the receipt upload instruction
    • Click "Upload Receipt" to select your purchase receipt
    • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, PDF
    • Ensure the receipt is clear and readable
    • Check the "Already Uploaded the Receipt" checkbox when done

C. Follow General Instructions (if provided)

  • If the business provides additional instructions:
    • Read the general instruction carefully
    • Complete any additional requirements
    • Check the "Already Followed General Instruction" checkbox when done

Step 4: Set Up Payout Account (Cashback Specific)

  1. In the "Select Payout Account to earn cashback" section:
    • Choose your preferred payout method from the dropdown
    • Available options depend on your verified accounts (PayPal, bank transfer, etc.)
    • Select the account where you want to receive your cashback
  2. Click "Update Payout Account" to save your selection
